On this day, October 24, 2003 e.v., David Cherubim has voluntarily
abolished his "administrative position and title" as Chief (or Head)
of the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn (Order of the T.·.G.·.D.·.),
and he will now simply be known by his Order motto and name, Frater
A.·.A.·., and as the Founder of the Order.  There will no longer be an
"administrative position" called Chief (or Head) in the Thelemic Order
of the Golden Dawn, and there is no successor, nor can there ever be
one, to fill this now defunct administrative position.  Frater
A.·.A.·. will continue as a member of the Order to maintain the Order
with his appointed associates, but without the attachments and
limitations of an administrative position and title, so that he may
freely fulfill his spiritual and creative work for the Order in
harmony with the nature of his Grade advancement and related work in
the Order.  Thus the voluntary abolishment of his "administrative
position and title" in the Order is a spiritual service for the Order,
and the same applies to the abolishment of succession in this regard.

Also, there will no longer be an administrative title of "Officer",
"Superior Officer", or "Secretarial Officer" in the Order.  Past
Officers of the Order will now only be known by their grade mottos and
titles, and as "Initiators" and "Hierophants" (or
"Hierophantrias") of
the Order.  All of the grade titles will remain the same in the Order.

The original symbol for the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn, which
is the Sevenfold Symbol of Illumination composed of the Gold Cross of
Elemental Equilibrium surmounted by a White Triangle of Supernal
Light, has replaced the Elevenfold Star.  We no longer use, nor will
we ever use again, the Elevenfold Star in any way, shape or form in
connection with the Order or any associated organization.

The documents and name of the Thelemic Order of the Golden Dawn will
remain to be the intellectual property of David Cherubim for no other
purpose than to prevent, and protect the Order from, internal and
public abuse.  David Cherubim will continue to protect, serve and
support the Order, and to work for the Order without any personal lust
of result to interfere with that work.

On the Winter Solstice of 2003 e.v., all of the Outer Order documents
will become accessible to members of the Order through the private
Thelemic Golden Dawn Yahoo Group files section, including all of the
Self-Initiation Rites for the outer Grades of the Order.  The
Ceremonial Initiations will, however, remain private for Initiators
and Hierophants of the Order.  Also, on the Vernal Equinox of 2004
e.v., all of the Thelemic Golden Dawn lessons will be accessible to
members of the Order.

Members will have complete access to all of the above information.
However, this does not change the system and structure of the Order in
any manner, including the periods of time that members must undergo
for each Grade.  We will not recognize or certify anyone who deviates
from these necessary periods of time, and their membership will be
cancelled for both their own sake and that of the Order.  Initiation
in the T.·.G.·.D.·. is real, not formal, and these periods of time
are
necessary to balance and prepare oneself previous to advancement in
the Order.

Like the Holy Order of the A.·.A.·., of which the
T.·.G.·.D.·. is an
outer Order, it will exist, not like a Church, nor a Lodge, nor a
Party, or some other similar kind of external, social or political
institution where the human ego or personality governs, but rather as
a Spiritual Order, whose Chief will now be "invisible", and whose
members will now be illuminated from "within" to accomplish the Great
Work without external limitations.  The changes that have transpired
for the Order this year, like the elimination of all financial
connections and now the abolishment of administrative titles, are
ultimately in service to the Order itself, to ensure its spiritual
success, and to ensure its object remains one during its continuing
vast growth—to accomplish the Great Work of Thelema!
