SmApper Technologies - Software Engineer

SmApper Technologies is seeking Software Engineers to join a skilled,
energetic engineering team. These individuals will contribute to
driving the SmApper solutions forward as we expand our product
offerings and grow the company.

Responsibilities

* Specifying and designing components of the product architecture
* Implementing quality software to a defined specification, on time
* Integrating individual components as one consistent entity
* Interfacing with QA, support and sales teams

Requirements

We are looking for someone with the energy and enthusiasm for working
in a start-up environment and with the following qualifications:

* BSc or similar in Engineering or Computer Science
* Experience welcomed but not mandatory
* Good written and verbal skills
* Comfortable working in a multi-national team with English as the
defacto working language

and some or all of the following skills:

* C/C++
* Python
* Lisp
* UNIX/Linux systems programming
* Microsoft Windows systems programming
* FreeBSD kernel development
* TCP/IP networking
* Distributed systems
* Database skills
* User interface design and implementation
* File system protocols (CIFS, NFS)
* Authentication mechanisms (Windows, LDAP)
* Virtualisation with VMware
* Release engineering
* German language skills
