uka ppp und rtspkt

Hi,
als ich noch viel unter DOS gemacht habe und nach ISDN auf LAN und Router
gewechselt hatte, hatte ich kein uka_ppp mehr benutzt, sondern Lynx und
Minuet direkt auf rtspkt gesetzt.
Ein bekannter von mir hat bis vor kurzem mit uka_ppp via Modem gearbeitet.
Jetzt will er auch über LAN und Router arbeiten.
Gibt es irgendwo eine Anleitung, wie man das mit uka_ppp bewerkstelligt? Es
geht dabei speziell um E-Mail. Wenn ich meinen Bekannten da richtig
verstehe, findet der E-Mail-Client von uka_ppp keinen Paket-Treiber. RTSPKT
ist aber gestartet.
