T-Mobile UMTS ppp-Verbindungsaufbau: Unterschiede zw. Xtra und w'n'w 300 (Business?)

Sorry, für das doppelposting, ich verzweifle hier noch...

gegeben ist Debian Linux lenny/sid mit einem
Linux blues-mobil 2.6.26-1-686 #1 SMP Fri Mar 13 18:08:45 UTC 2009 i686
GNU/Linux und einem Nozomi Treiber für meine Option GT+ /bzw. Option GTMax
UMTS Karte.

Wie es begann...:

Vor einigen Wochen mußte ich ein paar Tage weg und testete daher kurzfristig
mein Notebook samt UMTS Karte. Genaugenommen habe ich hier drei Karten
liegen, die erste, eine Huawei E630 (7,2 MBit HSDPA, emuliert TTYUSBx),
eine Novatel Merlin U630 (nur UMTS, 'altes' PCMCIA mit 'normalen' TTYSx
Com-Port(s) und eine T-Mobile DSL1800 Card, (Option GT+ 1,8 MBit HSDPA).

Benutzt wurden bisher nur die Huawei für Vodafone (Websessions) und die
T-Mobile Karte für meinen Web'n'walk 300 Tarif.

Alle haben keinen Simlock, oder Netlock, alle Karten funktionieren mit
allen Providern.

Jetzt das Problem.

Vodafone in Huawei mit Websessions: OK
T-Mobile in Option GT+ mit w'n'w: ppp-Fehler 'no protocols running'
T-Mobile in Huawei mit w'n'w: ppp Fehler, 'Timeout oder no prot's running'
T-Mobile in Novatel mit w'n'w: geht.

Verzweifelung...
Nokia E71 per USB angeschlossen und selbes ppp-script auf das E71 angesetzt:
geht...

Vodafone Karte in Option GT+ eingelegt: geht nicht... Timeout, kein Connect.

Okay, scheint irgendwas mit der Option GT+ zu sein, vielleicht ist sie ja
kaputt - ist ja nun auch schon alt.

Also bei Ebay eine Option GTMax geschossen - benutzt auch den nozomi Treiber
unter Linux und ist eigentlich sehr ähnlich, aber kleiner, kompakter.

Aber jetzt ist dafür die Verwirrung komplett:

GTmax mit w'n'w: geht nicht, 'no protocols running'
GTmax mit websessions: OK

hmm... Ich hab hier doch noch so eine X-Tra Card herumliegen, mal schauen
was damit ist...

GTmax mit XTra Card: OK ... WTF???!

Vielleicht doch die Sim-Karte kaputt? T-Mobile Hotline bejaht dies und
schickt mir eine neue Karte...

Selbes Problem, geht nicht.

BTW: Wenn ich die Extra-Karte in die ALTE GT+ hineinstecke bekomme ich
übrigens auch Timeouts bzw. 'Not protocols running' von ppp an den Kopf
geschmissen.

Kann sich das irgendjemand erklären?

Ich habe übrigens schon so manche ppp-Option ausprobiert, aber keine es
verändert sich nichts....

Kann mir das mal jemand erklären? Meine alte DSL 1800 Karte mag defekt sein,
oder der Router in dem ich sie mal gesteckt habe hat diekomplett verstellt,
aber die 'neue' GTmax sollte doch nun eigentlich funktionieren.

Vor allem: Wieso funktioniert sie mit einer anderen Karte desselben
Netzbetreibers tadellos aber mit der Austausch-Karte meines Vertrages
nicht?

Ich bin kurz davor 50 Euro auf die Extra-Karte zu laden und zu
vergessen...;-)
